Dimming distracting sites
Dimming (Pro) shows the sites you choose in greyscale, which makes them noticeably less tempting while you work.
Turning it on
Edit a category and switch on Dim these sites. Every site in that category, including tabs you moved there by hand, turns grey.
Why Chrome asks for permission
To change how a page looks, an extension needs access to websites. TabHue doesn't ask for this when you install it; it only asks when you turn dimming on. Chrome's wording sounds broad, but TabHue only uses it to apply the grey filter. It reads the page's address, never its content.
If you said no, dimming stays off. If a notice says Dimming is paused, click Allow to turn it back on.
Turning it off
Switch off Dim these sites in the category. You can also remove TabHue's website access at any time from chrome://extensions.
